We all remember the time when the new Samsung Glazy S7 was recalled due to the battery exploding. Reasons why a battery may explode include overcharging the battery, overheating, physical damage, and faulty manufacturing. In fact, in 2013, teens got a third dree burns from the heat!

The Samsung Galaxy S7 isn’t the only smartphone prone to this problems. Due to this, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) banned certain smartphone models from plane. The National Transportation Safety Board has also alerted airlines and travelers of lithium batteries as air cargo, according to the American Chemical Society.
