This musculoskeletal robot from the Suzumori Endo Robotics Laboratory in Tokyo is driven by multifilament muscles. We can't decide if it's creepy or cool. One thing's for sure. This guy is never going to win the World Cup if he doesn't work on that kick.

The "muscle" bands are controlled by an electric current, allowing the fibers to contract like human muscles. 

Don't fret. Our friend here is far too weak to enslave humanity just yet.
