  • Why should we kick the need for fossil fuels. Is oil as we know it even made from fossils of dinosaurs and ancient forests. Recent discoveries are suggesting that this is not the case, but rather hydrocarbon production is a near endless supply of the abiotic process that is occurring within the deep earth. Hydrothermal vent studies where captured hydrocarbons have been studied show carbon-13 as being the precursor rather than carbon-12 which is the organic version of it. I'm starting to believe that regardless of where oil comes from that we NOT discontinue its use in creating fuel at all. There isn't a single argument that merits its discontinued use at all outside of environmentalist lobbying and the current eco-political climate that is running rampant in the halls of government to try and outlaw or tax away oil.
