Self-Powering Mouse Radio Beacon Installation Nabs Laptop Thieves

FreightSecurity, a part of the AGS Group, builds a covert highly-sensitive SIFT-III GPS tracker into a computer mouse FreightWatch and the ESMC.

A Radio Beacon is placed inside the mouse to find the stolen Mouse/Laptop in a building without any GPS coverage.

This system has its own power management and goes in low power mode when it’s not moving. It can work without external power source for days. When the battery is running out of power it will inform the control room automatically; the mouse can be recharged on the standard USB connector.

If the mouse starts to move, the system will be in high-update and send his position, speed heading and voltage every 5 seconds.

The system is build for law enforcement agencies to nab criminals from the street.
