Robots from Leonardo to the Present

A fascination with robots led one designer to explore a robotic cart first designed by Leonardo DaVinci.

Mark Rosheim, president of Ross-Hime Designs, a mechanical design company in Minneapolis, MN, is the author of three books on robotics. In this interview at the SPIE Defense and Security Symposium, Rosheim talks about current robotics applications and early ideas about robots.
