Victrex Peek Polymer
The VICTREX PEEK polymer controls the pressure of the gas inside a CNG tank.



When Motonic Corporation (West Conshoshocken, PA) has chosen VICTREX PEEK polymer to replace metal for the valve seats used in the pressure regulators in compressed natural gas (CNG) vehicles. The VICTREX PEEK polymer:

  • Controls the pressure of the gas inside a CNG tank.
  • Has an operating temperature between -40° and 120°C.
  • Does not change shape or properties while performing under extreme pressure.
  • Provides thermal protection to regulate temperature.
  • Has temperature, chemical and humidity resistance.
