Wireless Key For Hands-free Cabinet Access

A wireless active key is a new access method for E-Line handles. Access can be gained directly at the cabinet level as the wireless active key continuously transmits signals to the handle on the cabinet to determine where access is granted or denied and requires no action from the holder. Since active keys are always transmitting, the coded latches can recognize the presence of several key bearers at the same time. The system allows or denies access automatically, depending upon whether all people in a group are coded for that latch. The stylized compact shape of the active key allows it to be housed in a briefcase, pocket, or key ring.
