Wind Tunnel Controller

The WTC-100 is a fully automatic controller for laboratory wind tunnels that are used to thermally characterize PC board components, heat sinks, card racks, and other electronics hardware. The WTC-100 controller employs two independent sensors that simultaneously measure air velocity and temperature. The dual sensors allow fast, precise control of air flow to provide a wide range of wind tunnel test conditions. The WTC-100 regulates air velocities from 60 to 10,000 ft/min, depending on the capabilities of a wind tunnel’s fan tray. Rapid feedback from the sensors maintains the air flow in the test domain to within ۪.5 prcent of the set velocity. The WTC-100 wind tunnel controller operates on all PC platforms with ATS StageControl software, which is a user-friendly LabView-based application.
