Vision-guided Robot Software

In-Sight Explorer 3.3 for In-Sight vision sensors includes new calibration, communication, and other tools designed to minimize integration time when incorporating vision in robotic guidance and inspection applications. Non-linear calibration corrects for lens and perspective distortion to enhance repeatability. Robot drivers and sample code are designed to facilitate tight, seamless integration, while the Patmax feature is built to accurately and reliably locate unfixtured parts. In-Sight Explorer 3.3 is available on a wide range of IP67-rated hardware platforms. The vision sensor is available in standard and high-resolution models and with high-flex cables for robotic applications. The In-Sight 5400R vision sensor offers a compact, remote-head camera for end-of-arm mounting in applications with limited space, such as light payload applications. All In-Sight vision sensor models include vision software designed to ensure reliable performance in two-dimensional robotic guidance and inspection applications.
