These include silicone for high heat, nitriles for general purpose, polyurethane blends for abrasion resistance, ESD silicone for electronics, vinyl for light-duty use, and gum rubber for paper handling. The cups are also offered in Nomathane, a silicone-free, non-marking hybrid for handling hot items. Engineers can choose sizes ranging from miniature to several feet long, depending upon the material.
