Company expands its uninterruptible power management products

POWERVAR, Inc. expands its innovative and successful family of uninterruptible power management (UPM) products with the addition of two new capacity models for North American use – a 2.2 kVA and a 3 kVA. According to the company, the POWERVAR UPM is designed to provide the most complete power protection against power outages, surges and noise associated with dirty power.

POWERVAR, Inc. expands its innovative and successful family of uninterruptible power management (UPM) products with the addition of two new capacity models for North American use – a 2.2 kVA and a 3 kVA. According to the company, the POWERVAR UPM is designed to provide the most complete power protection against power outages, surges and noise associated with dirty power, and features:

  • A surge diverter, noise filter and low impedance isolation transformer to guarantee fully conditioned power whether operating on the utility supply or on battery.
  • A clean, low distortion sine wave for 8-10 minutes (depending on load) when on battery.
  • User hot swappable batteries, casters, leveling feet, full front panel controls and indicators, and both RS232 and USB communications interfaces for use with POWERVAR's Communications Manager Software suite.
  • Compliance with FCC Class A requirements.
  • Added security with its industry leading warranty, which covers UPM electronics against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of five years.
