Trek’s Model 50/12 high-voltage bipolar amplifier reaches voltage levels previously considered impossible.

Trek Inc. (Medina, NY) has introduced a new DC-stable high-voltage linear amplifier – Trek Model 50/12 – which delivers ±50kV performance (100 kV peak-to-peak). Trek’s Model 50/12 high-voltage bipolar amplifier reaches voltage levels previously considered impossible. Features include:

  • An all solid state design for high slew rate, wide bandwidth and low noise operation.
  • Precise control of output voltages in the range of 0 to ±50 kV DC or peak AC (up to 100 kV peak-to-peak).
  • An output current range of 0 to ±12 mA DC or peak AC.
  • A slew rate that is greater than 350 V/µs.
  • A small signal bandwidth (-3 dB) is DC to greater than 20 kHz.
  • A noise that is less than 10 V rms.
