Synaptics Supporting Ultrabook Growth

Synaptics has announced extensive TouchPad support for the emerging Ultrabook notebook PC category. An Ultrabook notebook combines the functionality and features of a tablet in a thin, lightweight, powerful design based on a reference specification from Intel. The ClickPad, including Image Sensing technology that detects multiple fingers, supports large TouchPad surface areas that are ideal for precise navigation and sophisticated gesture recognition. Features include:

  • Custom TouchPad solutions developed with system-level engineering expertise.
  • 11.1″-13″ target screen sizes.
  • Solid-State Disk (SSD) storage.
