Synaptics has announced the first shipment of its ClearPad 3200 on-cell solution in the Sharp DC250 smartphone, which is now available through DoCoMo in Japan. The ClearPad 3200 is a single-chip controller for 2D capacitive touchscreens and buttons. ClearPad 3200 improves overall device usability by eliminating touchscreen sensitivity issues associated with noisy handset power supplies as well as environmental and display noise. Features include:

• A 720p HD resolution touchscreen.
• A 4.5-inch glass-free 3D screen.
• A built-in 12 megapixel camera with full 1080p HD video capture.
