SCD Series submicro ac variable-speed drives are designed to cut the cost of DeviceNet connectivity.
The small drives feature a display and keypad as well as analog inputs and preset speeds. For greater programming flexibility, operators can enter parameters using the display and keypad or its proprietary Electronic Programming Module (EPM) technology. The EPM programmable memory chip plugs into the front of the drive and contains the operating parameters, and a companion handheld, battery-operated programmer can store up to 30 drive programs and transfer programs to the EPM in seconds. The technology allows operators to program a drive without powering up, copy the drive's program in seconds for fast mass programming or easily swap drives without reprogramming DeviceNet parameters, and quickly reset the drive to OEM factory or network defaults. Control I/O includes five logic inputs, two logic outputs, one configurable analog input, and two analog outputs. Designed for mounting as components in electrical enclosures, all units have IP20 finger-safe housings that can be DIN rail mounted. Options include through-hole mounting, dynamic braking, and high-frequency output to 1,000 Hz.
