Steinmeyer, Inc. (Burlington, MA) has announced a new high precision, light weight, micro manipulator stage MT 105-50-LM. This stage is an excellent choice for applications in the semiconductor metrology, biomedical, miniature robotics, and laser industry. Features include:

  • A sleek low profile design.
  • A footprint of 105 x 151 mm.
  • A height of 25 mm and a weight of 1.0 kg. 
  • A construction of high strength anodized aluminum.
  • A travel of 50 mm with a positional accuracy of 1µm (micrometer).
  • Straightness/flatness runout of +/- 1µm and repeatability of +/- 0.2 µm. 
  • Preloaded cross roller bearings.
  • Fixed stops and incremental linear encoder with 0.1 µm resolution.
