Stainless Steel Servo Insert Couplings

Stainless steel SERVOMAX couplings from R+W

Stainless steel SERVOMAX couplings from R+W feature a heat-treated design within the precision machined hub, which removes inconsistencies in the surface area in contact, and can improve rotational positioning accuracy.

Stainless steel SERVOMAX couplings from R+W feature a chemically-resistant elastomer element that is press fit between two precision-machined coupling halves, giving it zero backlash and guaranteed concentricity. Additional product features include:
  • Inserts that are available in 4 different types of Shore hardness, dependent upon the damping and torque rigidity required.
  • A heat-treated design within the machined hub, which removes inconsistencies in the surface area in contact, and can improve rotational positioning accuracy.
  • A high-torque density and very smooth running due to the tight concentricity tolerance in the overall design, according to the company.
  • RoHS compliance.
  • Availability in 9 different sizes with torque capacities from 2 Nm (17.7 lbs./in.) to 2,150 Nm (19,027 lbs./in.).
  • The ability to accept English or metric bores, with or without keyways, in the 3- to 80-mm range.
