Speed Valves

These speed valves are designed to multiply available pump flow to increase rapid advance speeds of double-acting hydraulic cylinders. The valves incorporate an integrated regenerative circuit design intended to accomplish pressure-dependent speed increases of up to twice that of the speed generated by existing pump flow.

These models are made with a circuit that is engineered to provide rapid advance with limited force until a predetermined pressure is reached, automatically shifting the valve to allow application of the cylinder's maximum force or normal speed.

The valves are rated at pressures up to 5,000 psi and are currently available with flows up to 11 GPM. Models for increased flows of 32, 53, and 79 GPM will be available soon. There are no external controls such as manual operators or electrical solenoids required. And, the valves are reported to be compact and lightweight.
