Soft-seal Fittings

These wire and probe adjustable soft-seal, single and multiple fittings are available in 316L stainless steel materials. The stainless steel feedthroughs are suitable for use in petrochemical, pharmaceutical, and industrial materials processing environments. They are engineered so that they can be applied in corrosive environments with pressures ranging from vacuum to 10,000 psi, depending on the sealant material that is used.

The pressure/vacuum compression sealing feedthroughs are manufactured in threaded NPT, weld neck, O-ring, and flanged configurations. The soft-sealant technology should enable easy assembly by inserting the wire or probe and torquing the cap. The use of replaceable sealants is intended to permit repeated use of the stainless steel fitting for easy installation and service in the field. Standard sealant materials consist of Lava, Teflon, Neoprene, Viton, and Grafoil. Other sealants are available for custom requirements.

Standard fittings should accommodate up to 16 conductors ranging from 24 AWG to 3/4 in diameter or up to 40 probes ranging in size from 0.020 in to 1.25 in diameter.
