Small Magnetic Proximity Switch

Ultra-small Series 9000 magnetic proximity switches for round keyway applications mount on a variety of cylinders with two types of sensing devices for determining the proximity of the piston.

The compact device features a quick-connect interface and dovetail mounting adapter. The tiny sensor relays the signal back to the PLC or PC. Units are available in both solid-state electronic and reed styles. Designed primarily for use with low-voltage programmable controllers, the electronic versions feature an optional in-line amplifier that can be used to increase output current and voltage capacity. Standard 1/4 in. dovetail mounting hardware is included with both sensor models, and many other mounting options are available. The molded switch also features an onboard indicator light viewable from wide angles and designed for quick troubleshooting, surge suppression, corrosion and washdown resistance, 45-degree wire outlet for close mounting, and compatibility with intrinsically safe barriers.
