Single-board Computer (9199)

A new version of a high-performance EBX single-board computer is available. Called the Cobra, and priced at $1,700 in OEM quantities, the new unit includes pass-through style connectors that support 8-bit ISA and 16-bit PCI signals. The design enables the CPU board to be installed directly over an application-specific I/O platform, with or without additional I/O. The Cobra is a based on the EBX platform with on-board support for up to 2 GB RAM, Extreme Graphics 2 video, Ethernet, USB, serial communication, and digital I/O. It includes specialized reliability features, such as TVS devices to protect against electrostatic discharge. Other features include a watchdog timer, a CPU temperature sensor, and OEM-enhanced, field-upgradeable embedded BIOS.
