The snapSHOT EMI shield, a board-level multi-cavity shielding product, provides protection against electromagnetic interference. The metallized thermoformed plastic shield, which has been engineered to be easy to install and remove, can accommodate intricately shaped designs. Electrically insulative on the inside, it also allows for significant thickness reduction over currently available shielding solutions. The EMI shield is attached to the PC board using a patented snap attachment mechanism. It can be installed using manual, semi-automated, or fully automated equipment.
