Sealing Tapes

Many applications in molecular technology, such as high-throughput screening, RT-PCR, cell culture, and compound storage, require high-performance sealing tapes. ARseal high-performance sealing tapes are designed for use with micro-titer plates, micro-fluidic chips, and micro-arrays. ARseal sealing tapes address a number of specialized needs, including resistance to polar organic solvents, acids, and alcohols; high and low temperature resistance; high and low tack adhesives that bond well to low surface energy plastics with minimal pressure; tight seal to surfaces, minimizing the risk of sample loss and cross-well contamination; high optical properties for test detection; and chemically clean adhesive formulations with extremely low residual volatiles. In addition to customized products, tapes currently available in the ARseal line include: ARseal 90404 and 90697, removable silicone adhesives for RT-PCR and PCR applications; ARseal 90614, a silicone adhesive for sample storage; ARseal 90600, a removable acrylic adhesive that resists tearing for both PCR and storage applications; and ARseal 7922 and 7815, acrylic adhesives for ELISA and storage transport.
