Scroll Pump

This high-vacuum, two-stage rotary scroll pump is for integration into lasers, biomedical equipment, leak detectors, and other instrument applications that require high performance and quiet operation. The pump produces a vacuum to 10 millitorr. Oilless mechanics make it ideal for clean room medical, electronics, and manufacturing operations.

The pump measures 3.6 in. x 3.7 in. x 4.4 in., and requires 20 watts shaft power. It uses either AC or DC motors with speeds of 2,500 RPM. The scroll design provides smooth, pulse-free operation, eliminating the noisy valves and vibration of reciprocating units. Rotary motion allows dynamic balancing, providing nearly vibration-free operation. And with one moving part, scroll machines are reliable and durable.
