VUB300 is a single-chip USB to SDIO bridge that allows SDIO and SD compliant devices to be connected to any host PC via USB.



Saelig Company (Pittsford, NY) has introduced the VUB300 – a tiny 6 x 6 mm QFN IC that converts a USB interface to an SDIO Host Interface. VUB300 is a single-chip USB to SDIO bridge that allows SDIO and SD compliant devices to be connected to any host PC via USB. Features include: 

  • Low power.
  • A small package size and high data throughput.
  • A USB2.0 high-speed connection that transfers of up to 480 Mbps.
  • Backward-compatibility with full-speed USB2.0 and USB1.1.
  • A1- or 4-bit SDIO and SD Interrupt with automatic card detection.
  • A< 450 mW from a 3.3 V supply.
  • RoHS-compliance.
  • An operating temperature range of -40° to +85°C.
