LISTED UNDER:

Like all POSITAL (Hamilton, NJ) optical encoders, the improved CANopen models use a tried and tested optoelectronic scanning method to record positional values. The cyclic transmission of Process Data Output (PDO) offers an efficient transmission and saves bandwith in the network communication. Additionally, preset value, resolution and limit switch parameters can be configured directly via the CAN Bus. Features include:

  • A boot loader for easier updates.
  • Programmable parameters.
  • Fast and efficient transmission.
  • Up to 16384 (14 bit) revolutions with mechanical gearing, no battery back up.
  • Hollow shaft or solid shaft flanges.
