The Vortex Series of oil-less articulated piston pumps includes vacuum versions suitable for use in mobile applications. The pumps feature a patented all-aluminum crankcase and cylinder that are designed to run cooler, promise service-free life, and boast 15 percent lighter weight than conventional cast iron units. The balanced 90-degree "V" design is engineered to lower vibration and noise while increasing capacity and efficiency. Permanently lubricated and sealed bearings, as well as industrial-duty motors, complete the package. Available are three-phase or single-phase ac motors and 12-volt permanent-magnet dc motors.
