For high speed distance and position measuring, Baumer (Southington, CT) has introduced the new FADK 14 Pulsed Red LED Sensor that offers resolutions of 0.1 to 1mm at a sensing range of 50 to 400 mm. The cost effective FADK 14 Sensors deliver highly accurate measurements regardless of the substrate material or the color of the target object. Features include:

  • Resolutions of 0.1 to 1 mm.
  • A sensing range of 50 to 400 mm.
  • A measurement accuracy up to 25 kLux.
  • A transparent rear housing.
  • Available in current or voltage output versions.
  • An integrated alarm output.
