Power Supply Modules

The 830 Series universal-input, single-output dc/dc switching power supply module is designed to be small enough to be molded into the plug of an ac power cord. The compact 6 W module offers a choice of output voltages and an advanced switching circuit that operates at 500 kHz with more than 5 percent efficiency.

A ceramic substrate allows operation without an external heat sink, saving space and reducing heat dissipation. Integral screened resistors, set by active trimming, provide drift-free operation over the life of the product. An isolated dc/dc converter accepts an input range of 110 to 375 Vdc, allowing the module to operate from any rectified 80-265 Vac line.

The module provides UL-required isolation between the input and output. Up to 2,000 V isolation is available in the standard module and up to 3,500 V is available in custom versions. A low component count offers a high mean time between failures.

Pricing is less than $6 each in OEM quantities.
