Power Factor Correction Modules

Low-profile 7700 Series power factor correction power modules have power handling capabilities of up to 4,000 W.

The hybrid modules contain all the power components needed to perform boost-type power factor correction in a switching power supply including a bridge rectifier with SCRs for inrush current limiting, an ultrafast boost diode, power MOSFET, and an NTC thermistor. Two standard configurations cover ratings from 1,500-4,000 W and line voltages up to 300 Vrms. The compact modules optimize use of the available current to maximize overall efficiency while maintaining a minimum footprint to conserve board space and improve thermal management. Modules also reduce assembly labor and enable power supplies to meet harmonic requirements, replacing up to 18 discrete components.

Pricing starts at $47.70 each in quantities of 10,000.
