The SP+ is a planetary gearhead that features low noise levels to 64 dB. It offers up to 20 percent higher torque capacity with 17-750 nm nominal and 40-1,100 nm acceleration torque. A new output bearing design gives the SP+ longer bearing lifetime.

The unit is available with a standard backlash of less than or equal to 4 to less than or equal to 6 arcminutes with optional backlash down to less than or equal to1 arcminute for highest positioning accuracy. It offers new proprietary shaft seals for IP 65/66 protection.
