The Mini Multi is an economic solution when two or more functions require monitoring.

The new PNOZmulti Mini, PNOZmm0p from Pilz Automation (Canton, MI), bridges the gap between the PNOZsigma relay and the PNOZmulti programmable relay. The Mini Multi is an economic solution when two or more functions require monitoring. The 45 mm wide housing makes the Mini Multi one of the smallest units on the market, saving space in the control cabinets when just a few safety functions are needed. Features include:

  • 20 inputs, 10 if the device being monitored requires dual channel wiring and 4 semiconductor outputs, 2 if dual channel wiring is required.
  • Din rail mounting, pluggable terminals and SIM card program storage.
  • An integrated LCD that is ideal for rapid, onsite diagnostics, resulting in reduced downtime and simplified troubleshooting.
  • A push and turn operator control that allows users to easily access status and diagnostics messages quickly and easily directly on the control cabinet or machine without the use of a PC.
  • Inputs are configured using the PNOZmulti Configurator, a simple, graphic based software package which allows the user flexibility to choose the devices to be monitored. The software uses symbols, similar to function block diagram, for intuitive programming. TThe software provides descriptive and self-explanatory input/output variables (e.g. 1.i0 magnetic switch 1) for ease of use.
  • Inputs/outputs within the program can be allocated immediately resulting in faster overall view of the project, easier programming, troubleshooting and allocation, saving the user time.
  • Configuration of the elements is based on the required machine functions and the category that needs to be achieved.
