The PNOZsigma features plug-in terminals and new spring-loaded terminal technology that cut installation time.



PNOZsigma, the latest addition to Pilz Automation (Canton, MI) Safety’s PNOZ product line, combines especially narrow housing widths with a wide range of safety functions such as emergency stop, safety gate monitoring, and two-hand control. Features include:

  • Selectable operating modes and standardized configuration and setup that save engineering time.
  • Reduced housing width as narrow as 12.5 mm.
  • Standardized operator elements, terminal designations and positions speed setup.
  • Plug-in terminals and new spring-loaded terminal technology cut installation time.
  • Application flexibility is assured by switch-settable reset mode, operating mode and time functions
  • High switching capability of up to 10 A plus rapid diagnostics.
  • 6 LED indicators that provide a uniform display of switch and fault conditions.
