The cylinder assemblies are excellent for use in corrosive environments.

Polygon (Walkerton, IN) has broken barriers for pneumatic actuators by creating a completely non-metallic cylinder assembly. By combining high strength composites with plastics such as Delrin, ABS, or UHMWPE, all parts can meet the needs of harsh environmental applications. These cylinder assemblies are excellent for use in corrosive environments and feature:

  • A smooth bore finish.
  • Lubrication retention capabilities.
  • Impact resistant of 1kg dropped from 2 meters.
  • A glass-filled composite guide rod.
  • Working pressures of 100-125 PSI.
