No More Fretting

DS bearings are designed to eliminate fretting corrosion damage to shafts under low-amplitude oscillating movement. Engineered for both marginally lubricated and dry applications, they are available as cylindrical bushings, thrust washers, strip, and custom parts.

The bearings are suitable for automotive applications such as steering gears, power steering, pedal bushings, seat slides, king-pin bushings, tailgate pivots, and brake caliper bushings. They can also be used in countless industrial applications such as machine slides, hydraulic cylinders, hydraulic motors, pneumatic equipment, and medical equipment.

The prelubricated bearings have a rigid steel backing to which is bonded a porous bronze sinter layer impregnated with a filled acetal polymer bearing lining. They withstand a maximum static specific load of 16,000 psi and a maximum dynamic load of 6,500 psi.
