The new power stage modules feature peak currents of up to 60 A and continuous 42 A.

With 2 new power stage modules, dSPACE (Wixom, MI) now ideally supports developers of automotive ECU functions working with electric motors in 12 and 24 V applications. A typical application area for these modules is the development of components for a 24 V electrical system in a commercial vehicle (e.g., for an auxiliary unit like an oil pump or a water pump). Features include:

  • Peak currents of up to 60 A and continuous 42 A.
  • Configuration entirely by software.
  • Flexible configurable output stage.
  • Signal conditioning and power stages.
