This CD details a new Ball Lock mounting system, which can free machine time by providing quick-change capabilities. The patented system is used to locate and lock fixture plates to subplates. Repeatability is ۪.0005 in., which minimizes or eliminates the need to indicate fixture position. The system holds plates together with working loads up to 20,000 lbs.
