Motor Feedback System (13303)

Motor Feedback System

SICK STEGMANN introduces VFS 60 Motor Feedback Systems. According to the company, the hollow shaft encoders mount to asynchronous motors and deliver from 1 to 10,000 ppr in a 60 mm housing. Additional product features include:
  • “F” technology—a nickel code disc to provide more robust operation and tolerance to temperatures as high as 100 C.
  • An IP65 rating.
  • Availability with a TTL or HTL interface.
  • Ball bearings that support the encoder shaft—bearings are spaced 30 mm apart for concentricity (0.3/0.1mm radial; 0.5/0.2mm axial) and minimum encoder vibration.
  • Hollow shaft clamping—provides increases in overall encoder reliability and immunity to electrical interference.
  • A radial/axial cable outlet that reduces installation depth by up to 28 percent.
