Motion And Automation Controller

UMAC universal motion and automation controllers consist of a modular PMAC system built with a set of 3U formal Eurocards.

A 3U-format Turbo PMAC CPU board includes software capable of controlling up to 32 axes simultaneously along with thousands of I/O points. The board is software compatible with other Turbo-PMAC versions and supports all standard PMAC accessories. The pack configuration incorporates a wide range of boards that can slide in and out of the 3U rack individually.

Units communicate with the CPU board over a common backplane board. The universal bus simplifies troubleshooting activities and provides plug-and-play versatility for a variety of systems configurations.
