Molded Circuit Breakers

UL489 AC and DC miniature molded case circuit breakers can deliver reliable performance in a wide range of applications, including low inrush motors, appliances, lighting, wiring protection, transformers, power supplies, and industrial controls. Industry-high ratings for the AC breaker versions are 32A at 480 Y/277 VAC and up to 63 A at 240VAC. A DC version offers ratings of 125 V (one-pole) and 250 V (two-pole) up to 63 A. Three UL ratings (489, 508, and 1077) provide users with a variety of cost-effective solutions to satisfy particular application requirements. UL489-specified breakers enable service entrance, feeder, or branch circuit protection and disconnect function. UL508 breakers can start, stop, regulate, control, or protect electric motors or industrial equipment. UL1077 supplementary protectors protect again overcurrent for specific loads or applications.
