Miniaturized Surface-mount Led Devices

The Solaris SM Series of high-performance surface-mount LED devices provides a compact, low-profile chip with forward current drive ranges from 75-175 mA. The series is suitable for improved brightness and packaging versatility in automotive, instrumentation, outdoor display (daylight visible), and portable device applications. It is available in five colors — blue, true green, red, yellow, and white — with luminance intensities ranging from 1,400 to 2,000 mcd at 75 and 175 mA forward current respectively. Similarly, high total flux levels are characteristic (4,000-5,500 mlm), demonstrating high brightness and contrast.
