Miniature Restrictor

The Lee Company's IMH Orifice for liquids is an economical, highly accurate miniature restrictor that can be used in medical instrumentation and disposables, hydraulic controls, and commercial and industrial applications. Now available in 53 standard flow rates, this stainless steel orifice is 100 percent flow tested in both directions to ensure flow tolerances as tight as ± 2 percent and provides far more flow accuracy than orifices specified by hole tolerances. The Lee IMH Orifice for liquids utilizes Lee's field-proven controlled expansion principle that makes it easy and economical to install, provides retention up to 21 Mpa (3,000 psi) and creates a leak-tight seal that prevents any by-pass leakage. The company also offers a brass orifice for gases, featuring a barbed design for installation into plastic housings. This orifice is also 100 percent flow tested and is offered in flow tolerances of ± 5 percent.
