Miniature Bearings

A new line of miniature (less than 1 in.) bearings are designed for service in demanding, high-speed applications, such as medical, dental, commercial aviation/aerospace, lab instrumentation, and semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Bearings are assembled in class 10,000 clean rooms under class 100 laminar flow benches, dimensional and functional accuracy are in accordance with ABEC and ISO standards, and units are available in a wide selection of steels, ceramic rolling elements, closures, mounting configurations, cages (retainers), and lubricants to meet the application's specific needs. Preloading either radial or angular contact bearings increases rigidity, improves running accuracy and prevents ball skidding at very high speeds and during acceleration or deceleration.
