The available base stations are WSDA-Base-101 Analog Output Base Station, WSDA-Base-102-RS-232 Serial Output Base Station, and WSDA-Base-104 USB Base Station.



MicroStrain (Williston, VT) announces additions to wireless gateway offerings with 2 new base stations, and upgraded Node Commander software. The available base stations are:

  • WSDA-Base-101 Analog Output Base Station: WSDA-Base 101 offers 8 channels of user assignable analog output and is ideal for those who require communication with existing analog data acquisition systems. WSDA-Base -101 has 2 buttons on the front panel that can be programmed using Node Commander to perform user selectable functions, including, pair node, initiate sampling, arm & trigger data logging, sleep node, and sleep/wake node.
  • WSDA-Base-102-RS-232 Serial Output Base Station: WSDA-Base-102 offers a serial RS232 communication interface, accommodating users with serial communication needs common in industrial applications such as connecting to PLC's.
  • WSDA-Base-104 USB Base Station: The current USB base station continues to be a popular base station offering, and has been renamed WSDA-Base 104. It connects to host pc by USB and is included in wireless sensor node starter kits.
