Lin Engineering (Santa Clara, CA), the Step Motor Specialists announces the release of their new R525 microstepping step motor driver. The R525 is designed to help reduce overall design time and system cost for a wide array of step motor applications needing high torque, power, and smooth motion. Features include:

  • A size of 3.3” in length and 1.3” in height.
  • An output range up to 5 amps peak current.
  • Handles up to 75 volts DC. 
  • NEMA 8, 11, 17, 23 and 34 motor compatible.  
  • A built-in RS485 communication that connects easily to a computer.
