The MES3 features an operating temperature range of 0° to 60°C.



CUI Inc (Tualatin, OR) announces the release of the MES3 series, the latest in their line of high performance micro optical encoders. Ideal for use in medical and robotics applications where size is critical, the MES3 features:

  • 5 mm body diameter and a 1.5 mm shaft diameter. 
  • Precise position and speed information in motion control systems.
  • Available with resolutions of 64 or 1024 PPR.
  • Optional line driver or open collector output signals.
  • An operating temperature range of 0° to 60°C.
  • A max speed of 6,000 RPM.
