The patent-pending Ion Digital Level Controller features A leak resistant and extremely durable proprietary enclosure.

Metropolitan Industries (Romeoville, IL) has launched the patent-pending Ion Digital Level Controller, the world’s first digital level controller for use with residential sump and sewage pumps that eliminates the moving parts associated with most mechanical switch failures. Features include:

  • Solid-state sensing computer technology that eliminates contact points and moving parts, making it superior to conventional switch technology.
  • A leak resistant and extremely durable proprietary enclosure that eliminates the chance for water to penetrate the inside of the controller.
  • Multiple stainless steel screws that supply optimal pressure, ensuring superior sealing properties adding to its durability.
  • A multipoint sealing mechanism that supersedes single surface seals used in mechanical float switches.
  • An inverter rating for use with most battery back up systems.
