Datakey Electronics will introduce its low-cost portable memory tokens for medical device applications at booth 2094. The tokens are autoclave and EtO sterilization resistant. This material enhancement is designed to simplify the manufacturing process and to provide a less expensive product to medical OEMs, while retaining the multiple-cycle sterilization capability that have made custom versions of these products popular within the medical device community. Typical applications for the portable memory products include "limit-use", calibration data upload, firmware updates, data transfer, data logging, user authentication, and access control, and more.
