Medical Magnification Task Light

Suitable for detailed laboratory inspection work, the Omnivue medical magnification task light features a fully pivoting 6.5 x 4.25 in. 3D lens. The lens offers 1.75X magnification power and a focal distance of 13.3 in. A fully rotational head with attached ball joint ensures precise positioning. Because the lens and head moves directly to where it’s needed to magnify, the light helps the user avoid bending or slouching. Glare from overhead lighting, which can appear on a glass lens and distort the viewing area, is minimized to reduce eyestrain and fatigue. The Omnivue provides two light levels for medical applications that require variable illumination capabilities. Three 9 W compact fluorescent 5,000 K lamps utilize either 1,200 lumens (18 W) of side-to-side lighting for standard inspection applications or 1,800 lumens (27 W) from the top and both sides of the magnifier for more detailed work. Users can direct light via a standard 35-in. reach arm. The Omnivue mounts to work areas via a table clamp, table base, or pin-mount adapter. A portable stand and two Add-X lenses are available for additional magnification from 7-16 diopters. To increase power, engineers can choose either a 4d (2X) or 4d + 12d (2X + 4X) lens. An industrial-grade table clamp and protective lens cover are included. Offering a 43-in. reach, the OmnivueMax model is well suited for larger work/laboratory areas and extends forward and locks into position easily.
