The THN transducer is based on the dual-beam design of the Model C transducer. The THN is a strain-gauge tension-measuring device used in pairs that mount opposed in a machine web path. Each end of an idler roll shaft fits easily and securely into a THN transducer coupling to create a tension-sensing idler roll. At 1 3.4 in. wide, it shares a low profile with other pancake-style shaft-mount load cells. The THN is available in dead- and live-shaft versions.
